Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Job Opportunity

Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Overview

  • Deliver superior quality nursing care aligned with core company values.
  • Prioritize patient and employee safety in all aspects of work.
  • Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
  • Develop individualized care plans based on assessments.
  • Identify patient teaching needs and collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Provide timely patient status updates during team conferences.
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly.
  • Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs.
  • Implement nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from day of admission.
  • Communicate changes in patient status to care providers to ensure continuity and safety.
  • Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.
  • Ensure personal and environmental safety following hospital policies.
  • Contribute positively to unit functioning and team building.
  • Maintain communication with management regarding supplies, equipment, and training needs.
  • Provide cost-effective care while promoting quality patient outcomes.
  • Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation, as requested.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education.
  • Prioritize activities and manage time and staff effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical nursing experience.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift (for certain locations).
  • Ability to supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees.
  • Commitment to safety protocols including safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace hazard awareness.

Work Schedule

  • 36-hour assignment
