Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Opportunity

Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Overview

  • Deliver superior quality nursing care aligned with organizational core values.
  • Emphasize patient and employee safety in all aspects of care.
  • Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
  • Develop individualized care plans based on assessments and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Provide timely patient status updates during team conferences.
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly.
  • Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs.
  • Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from admission.
  • Communicate changes in patient status to care team members to ensure continuity and safety.
  • Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.
  • Maintain personal and environmental safety according to hospital policies.
  • Contribute positively to unit functioning and team building.
  • Manage supplies, equipment needs, and clinical training requirements.
  • Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation, as requested.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education.
  • Prioritize activities and staff to meet patient needs effectively.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years bedside clinical experience required.
  • Certifications:
    • BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
    • ACLS Certification required prior to first shift (if applicable).
  • Supervisory Role: Responsible for supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees.
