MRI Technologist Position

Job Summary

Seeking an MRI Technologist with an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology. Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is preferred and must be willing to obtain if not already certified. The candidate should efficiently operate MRI machines, make patients comfortable before and during scans, and coordinate with physicians to ensure timely results. Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to stand for extended periods is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to help them feel comfortable
• Document all procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Perform patient care tasks as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY) required
• Must have experience with GE or Siemens MRI scanners
• Certification through ARRT or similar organization preferred (must be willing to obtain if not currently certified)
• Familiarity with all Non-Contrast exams, Routine MSK, Neuro, Spine, and occasional body MRI

Schedule & Work Details

• Full-time, 40 hours per week for the first 2 weeks for orientation
• Solo weekend shifts starting after orientation (Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 am – 7:00 pm)
• Flexibility to work day and/or evening shifts during orientation period
