Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Opportunity

Job Overview

  • Deliver superior quality nursing care aligned with core company values.
  • Emphasize patient and employee safety, including safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace hazard awareness.
  • Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission to develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to identify teaching needs and goals.
  • Provide timely patient status updates during team conferences.
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly.
  • Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs.
  • Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from day of admission.
  • Communicate changes in patient status to care providers to ensure continuity and safety.
  • Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.
  • Maintain personal and environmental safety according to hospital policies.
  • Contribute positively to unit functioning and team building.
  • Manage supplies, equipment needs, and clinical training communication.
  • Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation as requested.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education.
  • Prioritize activities and staff to meet patient needs effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical nursing experience (highly desired).
  • BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
  • ACLS Certification required prior to first shift (for certain roles).
  • Ability to supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees.

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Additional Notes

  • Focus on safety is a priority for both patients and staff.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.
  • Experience in rehabilitation and discharge planning is important.

No prior travel experience explicitly required.
