Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Job Opportunity

Job Summary

• Deliver superior quality nursing care aligned with core company values.

• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
• Develop individualized care plans based on assessments.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation of patient care.
• Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from admission.
• Communicate changes in patient status to care providers.
• Supervise and provide direction to ancillary nursing personnel.
• Maintain a safe environment following hospital policies.
• Contribute positively to unit functioning and team building.
• Manage supplies and equipment to ensure cost-effective care.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education.
• Prioritize and plan activities to meet patient needs effectively.

Contract Length

• 52 weeks (1 year)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical nursing experience.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift (for CIRH only).

Additional Notes

• The RN will supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees.
• Emphasis on safety practices including safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace hazard awareness.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.
