Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Opportunity

Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Overview

  • Deliver superior quality nursing care following established care plans.
  • Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
  • Develop individualized plans of care based on assessments.
  • Identify patient/family teaching needs and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide timely patient status updates during team conferences.
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly.
  • Participate in patient rehabilitation programs on assigned units.
  • Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, evaluate.
  • Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from day of admission.
  • Communicate changes in patient status to care providers to ensure continuity and safety.
  • Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.
  • Ensure personal and environmental safety according to hospital policies.
  • Contribute positively to unit functioning and participate in team-building activities.
  • Maintain communication with management regarding supplies, equipment, and training needs.
  • Provide care in a cost-effective manner while promoting quality outcomes.
  • Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation as requested.
  • Pursue professional growth through continuing education and self-study.
  • Prioritize activities and staff to meet patient needs effectively.

Requirements

  • Critical Care Background: Required
  • BLS Certification: Required prior to first shift
  • ACLS Certification: Required prior to first shift (for CIRH only)
  • Previous Charge Nurse Experience: Required
  • Minimum Years of Specialty Experience: 2 years bedside clinical experience highly desired
  • Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
