Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Opportunity
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- Deliver superior quality nursing care aligned with organizational core values.
- Prioritize patient and employee safety through adherence to safety policies and proactive hazard reporting.
- Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission to develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to identify teaching needs and goals.
- Provide timely patient status updates during team conferences.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly.
- Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs.
- Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from day of admission.
- Communicate changes in patient status to care providers to ensure continuity and safety.
- Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.
- Maintain a safe environment following hospital and nursing policies.
- Contribute positively to unit functioning and team building.
- Manage supplies, equipment needs, and clinical training requirements.
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation, as requested.
- Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education.
- Prioritize and plan activities to meet patient needs efficiently.
Requirements
- Minimum Specialty Experience: 2 years bedside clinical experience (highest stated requirement)
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required prior to first shift
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required prior to first shift (for CIRH only)
- Preferred Experience: ICU experience is a plus
- Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
