Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Opportunity

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

• Deliver superior quality nursing care aligned with organizational core values.
• Prioritize patient and employee safety through adherence to safety policies and proactive hazard reporting.
• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission to develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to identify teaching needs and goals.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
• Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs and discharge planning starting from admission.
• Communicate changes in patient status effectively to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.
• Maintain a safe personal and work environment following hospital policies.
• Contribute positively to unit functioning and team building.
• Manage supplies and equipment needs to support quality patient outcomes.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation as requested.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education.
• Prioritize and plan activities to meet patient needs efficiently.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years bedside clinical experience required.
• Certifications:

  • BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
  • ACLS Certification required prior to first shift (if applicable).
• Supervisory Role: Responsible for supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees.
