Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity

Job Overview

• Maintain delivery of quality nursing care by following the nursing care plan.
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees.
• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission to develop individualized care plans.
• Provide patient education and participate in rehabilitation programs.
• Initiate discharge planning from day of admission.
• Communicate patient status changes to care team to ensure continuity and safety.
• Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing staff.
• Ensure personal and environmental safety according to hospital policies.
• Participate in team building and maintain effective communication with management.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation as requested.
• Pursue professional growth through continuing education and self-study.
• Prioritize activities and manage time and staff effectively.

Requirements

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Experience: Minimum 2 years bedside clinical experience highly desired
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required prior to first shift
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required prior to first shift (for CIRH only)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not specified / not required
