Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Day Shift)
Job Summary
- Deliver superior quality nursing care following established care plans.
- Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
- Develop individualized patient care plans based on assessments.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
- Participate in patient rehabilitation programs.
- Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from day of admission.
- Communicate changes in patient status to care providers to ensure continuity and safety.
- Provide direction, training, and supervision to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees.
- Maintain personal and environmental safety according to hospital policies.
- Contribute positively to unit functioning and team building.
- Maintain communication with management regarding supplies, equipment, and training needs.
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation as requested.
- Pursue professional growth through continuing education and self-study.
- Prioritize activities and manage time and staff effectively.
Requirements
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years bedside clinical experience required.
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift (for CIRH only).
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
