Operating Room Nurse (OR RN) - Travel Opportunity

Job Overview

• Work in a Level 1 trauma center operating room caring for a wide variety of patients.
• Surgical specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, gynecology (GYN), ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, trauma, and transplant surgeries (liver, kidney, heart).
• Use of 2 DaVinci surgical robots across multiple services.
• Opportunity to work with specialty cases such as transplants, plastics, reconstructive surgeries, and craniotomies.
• Strong orthopedic surgical background preferred.

Requirements

• Licensure: RN license valid in New York State only.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years operating room experience, preferably in a Level 1 trauma hospital.
• Skills: Must be able to scrub and circulate in the OR.
• Certifications:

  • BLS (American Heart Association only) – Required
  • ACLS – Preferred

Schedule

• D/E/N rotating shifts
• On call/callback, floating, holidays, and weekends as needed
