Job Opportunity: Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit Nurse (ICU)

Location

• State: New York (NY)
• Facility: 12-bed state-of-the-art ICU focused on critically ill Neuro patients

Job Description

• Care for critically ill neuro patients with diagnoses such as traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, status epilepticus, stroke, and other critical neurologic conditions.
• Work in a specialized Medical/Surgical ICU environment.
• Provide high-level nursing and medical care requiring strong critical thinking and organizational skills.

Requirements

• Licensure: RN License (New York State only)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience in ICU acute care
• Skills:

  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to stay current with critical care knowledge
  • Telemetry experience required

Certifications

• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ACLS (American Heart Association)

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• Rotating day, evening, and night shifts
• Every other weekend coverage
• Holidays, on-call, callback, and charge nurse duties as needed
