Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Night Shift)
Job Summary
- Provide high-quality nursing care by following individualized nursing care plans.
- Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and new staff (orientees).
- Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission to develop personalized care plans.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to identify teaching needs and goals.
- Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs.
- Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission.
- Communicate patient status changes to care providers to ensure continuity and safety.
- Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.
- Maintain personal and environmental safety according to hospital policies.
- Contribute positively to unit functioning and team building.
- Manage supplies, equipment needs, and clinical training requirements.
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation, as requested.
- Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education.
- Prioritize activities and staff to meet patient needs effectively.
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (required before first shift)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification (required before first shift)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical nursing experience (highly desired)
