Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Night Shift)

Job Summary

• Provide high-quality nursing care by following individualized nursing care plans.
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and new staff (orientees).
• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission to develop personalized care plans.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to identify teaching needs and goals.
• Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission.
• Communicate patient status changes to care providers to ensure continuity and safety.
• Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.
• Maintain personal and environmental safety according to hospital policies.
• Contribute positively to unit functioning and team building.
• Manage supplies, equipment needs, and clinical training requirements.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation, as requested.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education.
• Prioritize activities and staff to meet patient needs effectively.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (required before first shift)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification (required before first shift)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical nursing experience (highly desired)
