Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Night Shift)

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Deliver quality nursing care by following individualized nursing care plans.
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees.
• Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs.
• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from day of admission.
• Communicate patient status changes to care team members to ensure continuity and safety.
• Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.
• Maintain personal and environmental safety according to hospital policies.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation, as requested.
• Engage in professional development and continuing education.
• Prioritize activities and manage time and staff effectively to meet patient needs.
• Contribute positively to team building and a supportive work environment.

Required Skills and Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification required prior to first shift (for CIRH only).
• Minimum of 2 years bedside clinical experience highly desired.
