Job Opportunity: Level 3 RN Diagnostic Imaging (Interventional Radiology)

Job Description

• Work in a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department within a Level 1 Trauma center.
• Provide care for inpatient and outpatient populations across all ages.
• Responsibilities include pre-procedural preparation, post-procedural recovery, and overnight observation care for IR patients.
• Care for patients boarding overnight pre- or post-procedure.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team in Diagnostic Imaging, supporting patients undergoing CT scans, MRI, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-ray, and ultrasound.
• Emphasis on good communication, critical thinking, teamwork, enthusiasm, flexibility, and organization.
• Experience with GI post-procedural care preferred but not required.
• Medical/Surgical and telemetry experience preferred.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of Registered Interventional Radiology (IR) Nursing experience.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Prior travel experience is not specified or required.

Certifications & Licenses

• New York RN license (required).
• BLS (American Heart Association only).
• ACLS (American Heart Association only).

Work Schedule & Environment

• D/E/N rotating shift schedule.
• Floating, holidays, weekends, on-call/callback duties.
• Charge nurse responsibilities per unit needs.
