Job Opportunity: Level 2 RN - Neurology Unit

Job Description

• Work on a specialized neurological unit caring for patients with stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain Barre Syndrome, and other neurological diseases.
• Join a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and the only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in the region.
• Utilize state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology to evaluate, diagnose, and treat seizures.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team that values nursing skills, talents, and compassion.
• Fast-paced environment with complex and acute patient cases.

Requirements

• Specialty: Neurology / Telemetry
• Years of Experience: 2 years (required)
• Licensure: RN License (New York state only)
• Certifications:

  • BLS (American Heart Association only) - required
  • NIHSS certification - highly preferred
• Experience: Telemetry experience required
• Schedule: Rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge per unit needs
