Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist

Job Summary

• Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on patient needs and physician direction.
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services.
• Design functional treatment programs to support effective return to community activities.
• Educate patients, families, students, and coworkers.
• Maintain professional standards, uphold confidentiality, and comply with organizational policies and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address barriers to discharge.
• Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions.
• Complete thorough and timely medical documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in student programs and provide supervision and evaluations.
• Engage in professional development and advocacy activities.
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain licensure and continuing education.
• Support organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Work Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week, 5 days a week.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Valid, current State license as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required prior to first shift.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation or Neurology required.

Safety and Compliance

• Commitment to patient and employee safety, including safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace hazard awareness.
• Adherence to hospital guidelines on appearance, attendance, and punctuality.

This position is suitable for Physical Therapists with at least 2 years of experience, including inpatient rehab or neuro experience, who are licensed and BLS certified, and who are committed to high standards of patient care and safety.
