Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Night Shift)

Job Summary

Provide high-quality nursing care by following individualized nursing care plans.
Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to identify teaching needs and goals.
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely.
Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and discharge planning starting from admission.
Communicate changes in patient status to care providers to ensure continuity and safety.
Supervise and provide direction to ancillary nursing personnel.
Maintain personal and environmental safety according to hospital policies.
Contribute positively to unit functioning and participate in team-building activities.
Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation as requested.
Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education.
Prioritize activities and manage time and staff effectively to meet patient needs.

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS Certification required prior to first shift
ACLS Certification required prior to first shift (for CIRH only)
Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience (highly desired)

Additional Information

Start date: ASAP
Responsible for supervising Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees.
