Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Night Shift)

Job Summary

• Provide direct patient care in a rehabilitation setting.
• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
• Develop individualized care plans based on assessments.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from admission.
• Communicate patient status changes to care providers.
• Supervise and provide direction to ancillary nursing personnel.
• Maintain personal and environmental safety according to hospital policies.
• Contribute positively to unit functioning and team building.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation as requested.
• Pursue ongoing professional development.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting, with rehabilitation experience within the last year.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
