Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN Night Shift

Job Summary

• Provide high-quality nursing care by following individualized nursing care plans.
• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to identify teaching needs and goals.
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission.
• Communicate changes in patient status to care providers to ensure continuity and safety.
• Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
• Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in team building and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation as requested.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Minimum of 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
