Job Opportunity: Level 3 RN Diagnostic Imaging

Job Description

• Work in a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department within a Level 1 Trauma center.
• Provide care for inpatient and outpatient populations across all ages.
• Responsibilities include pre-procedural preparation, post-procedural recovery, and overnight observation care for interventional radiology (IR) patients.
• Care for patients boarding overnight pre- or post-procedure.
• Opportunity to work in Diagnostic Imaging, supporting patients undergoing CT scans, MRI, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-ray, and ultrasound.
• Requires good communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team.
• Medical/Surgical and telemetry experience preferred.
• Work environment includes rotating day/evening/night shifts, floating, holidays, weekends, on-call/callback, and charge nurse duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New York State.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology nursing.
• Telemetry experience required.
• Certifications:

  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • ACLS (American Heart Association)

Additional Information

• Shift schedule: Day/Evening/Night rotating shifts.
• Must be flexible to work holidays, weekends, on-call, and float as needed.
• Charge nurse responsibilities may be assigned.
