Position Overview
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in John Day, OR. This role offers a dynamic mix of outpatient and inpatient care, with a strong focus on pediatrics in the outpatient setting. Approximately 65–70% of the outpatient caseload is pediatric, while inpatient care is primarily adult-focused.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide SLP evaluations and treatments across outpatient and inpatient settings

• Treat a diverse caseload, including pediatric and adult patients

• Perform and interpret Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)

• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care

Requirements

• Current Oregon SLP license (or ability to obtain)

• Graduate of an accredited SLP program; CCC-SLP preferred

• Pediatric experience required for outpatient caseload

• Must be able to independently perform MBSS

• Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills
