Location: Boston, MA
Start Date: 04/20/2026
Assignment: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 4 x 10s | 40 hrs/week
Shift: Days
Schedule Details:
- Training (first 2 weeks): Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Post-training: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM (likely Monday–Thursday)
- No on-call
Position Overview
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a PET/CT assignment in Boston, MA. This role supports advanced imaging in an academic medical setting and requires strong technical and patient care skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform PET/CT imaging procedures
- Venipuncture and glucometer operation
- Operate Siemens Biograph CT 64 and Medrad Intego injector
- Handle radiopharmaceuticals (FDG, Amyvid, Dotatate, Cerianna, etc.)
- Ensure accurate image transfer to PACS systems (MIM, McKesson)
- Prepare and screen patients prior to exams
- Maintain equipment, clean imaging areas, and stock supplies
- Follow radiation safety standards (ALARA, USP <825>)
- Complete documentation and charge entry
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an academic medical center
- PET/CT experience preferred
- ARRT (N) or CNMT certification required
- Massachusetts RT license required (or ability to obtain)
- BLS (AHA) required
