Travel Surgical Technologist – Operating Room (OR)
Boston, MA
13-Week Contract | Start Date: 04/20/2026
Schedule:
10-hour day shifts
7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
40 hours per week
Evening rotations required
Setting:
Inpatient OR – Level I Trauma Center
10 Operating Rooms
Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to support a high-acuity OR team in a Level I Trauma environment. The ideal candidate will have strong multi-specialty experience, including transplant and trauma cases, and the ability to scrub complex surgical procedures.
Case Types Include:
- Orthopedic, Neuro, Spine
- ENT (Head & Neck)
- General Surgery & Robotics
- Trauma & Organ Procurement
- GYN & Urology
- Bariatric & Plastic Reconstruction
- Kidney Transplants (Liver transplant experience highly preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Scrub and assist in a wide range of surgical procedures
- Maintain sterile field and ensure adherence to surgical protocols
- Prepare instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons and OR team in high-acuity cases
Requirements:
- Strong OR Surgical Tech experience required
- Must have experience in: ortho, neuro, ENT, general surgery, and kidney transplants
- Transplant, trauma, and neuro experience required
- Robotics experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Level I Trauma environment
Additional Details:
- Candidates must be available for call, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Floating may be required based on department needs
