Schedule:
36 hours per week
12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Nights)
Typical shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (rotation required)
Every other weekend required

Setting:
Surgical ICU (8-bed unit)

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced SICU RN to join a high-acuity, Level I Trauma environment. The unit cares for complex surgical patients, including transplant, hepatobiliary, and general surgery cases. Ideal candidates will have strong critical care experience and the ability to manage high-acuity patients in a fast-paced setting.

Patient Population:

• Surgical ICU patients
• Transplant (including hepatobiliary)
• General surgery
• High-acuity trauma cases

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care to SICU patients with complex surgical needs
• Monitor and manage patient status with ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:3
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
• Document all care in EPIC

Requirements:

• Active Massachusetts RN License
• 2–3 years of SICU experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Experience with transplant and high-acuity surgical patients
• EPIC charting experience required

Certifications:

• BLS/CPR (AHA) required
• ACLS required

Additional Details:

• Must be flexible to work rotating shifts and weekends
• Fast-paced, high-acuity environment
