Schedule:
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (varies)
8-hour day shifts | 40 hours per week
No on-call

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist with a strong background in Chemistry to join a high-volume hospital laboratory. This role requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy across complex specimens and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform chemistry testing and analysis in a busy hospital lab
• Accurately perform differentials, including neonatal specimens
• Handle complex samples (e.g., turbid specimens, platelet clumps, abnormal cell findings)
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation including Sysmex and CellaVision
• Ensure compliance with laboratory standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with lab team to support timely and accurate results

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist
• Strong experience in Chemistry required
• Experience in a large hospital setting (600+ beds) strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Sysmex and CellaVision systems required
• Must be able to work independently in a high-volume environment

Certifications:

• ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification required

Additional Details:

• Only Medical Technologists / Medical Laboratory Scientists will be considered (MLTs not accepted)
• Experience with neonatal populations and complex lab samples highly preferred
