Position Overview
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Cardiac Thoracic ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Hartford, Connecticut. This role is based in a Level 1 Trauma Hospital with a 16-bed Critical Care ICU, specializing in high-acuity cardiothoracic surgical patients.
Responsibilities

Provide critical care nursing for post-cardiothoracic surgical patients

Manage patients requiring PA catheters and advanced hemodynamic monitoring

Deliver care in a high-volume, high-acuity ICU setting
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Document accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR
-
Work every other weekend and every other holiday as scheduled
-
Maintain timely accountability for any call outs
Qualifications
-
Current Connecticut RN license
-
BLS and ACLS certifications required
-
NIHSS certification required
-
2+ years of cardiac surgical intensive care experience required

Proficiency with PA catheters

EPIC EMR experience required
-
Previous travel experience preferred
