Position Overview

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Cardiac Thoracic ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Hartford, Connecticut. This role is based in a Level 1 Trauma Hospital with a 16-bed Critical Care ICU, specializing in high-acuity cardiothoracic surgical patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing for post-cardiothoracic surgical patients

• Manage patients requiring PA catheters and advanced hemodynamic monitoring

• Deliver care in a high-volume, high-acuity ICU setting

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Document accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR

• Work every other weekend and every other holiday as scheduled

• Maintain timely accountability for any call outs

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN license

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• NIHSS certification required

• 2+ years of cardiac surgical intensive care experience required

• Proficiency with PA catheters

• EPIC EMR experience required

• Previous travel experience preferred
