Travel PACU RN – Nights
Bronx, NY
Start Date: 04/15/2026
Duration: 11 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 8-Hour Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 per week
Setting: Acute Care

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced PACU RN to support a high-acuity recovery unit in an acute care hospital. This role includes caring for post-anesthesia patients as well as ICU-level patients boarding in PACU, requiring strong critical care skills and adaptability.

Responsibilities:

Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring
Manage higher acuity patients, including ICU-level boarders
Assess, monitor, and document patient status using Epic EMR
Collaborate with anesthesia providers and interdisciplinary teams
Ensure safe and timely recovery or transition of care

Requirements:

Active NY RN License
BLS Certification (AHA)
Minimum 2 years of PACU or critical care experience
Experience with high-acuity patients preferred
Epic experience preferred
BSN not required

Unit Notes:

PACU supports ICU-level patients as boarders
Patients may remain in PACU beyond standard recovery times due to bed availability
