Travel Radiologic Technologist – MRI
Syracuse, NY | 13-Week Assignment | Start Date: 4/13

We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist – MRI for an immediate travel opportunity in a dynamic imaging department. This role is ideal for a technologist with strong MRI and radiographic experience, particularly in high-acuity environments.

Position Details:

• Location: Syracuse, NY
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Evenings, 5x8s
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend per month

Unit Overview:

• Modality: MRI / Radiology
• Care Setting: Acute Care

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI and radiographic examinations under the direction of radiologists
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Ensure patient understanding and comfort prior to exams
• Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Follow radiation safety and protection standards
• Accurately document procedures in Radiology Information Systems
• Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions
• Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and protocols

Requirements:

• A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
• Active New York State license/registration required
• Minimum 1 year of CT/MRI experience as a radiologic technologist
• Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and radiographic techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting
• Experience with Siemens MRI scanners
