Registered Nurse - Surgical Specialties Progressive Care
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role primarily involves providing care to an adult patient population. The position follows the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).
Required Skills & Experience
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice, typically acquired through completion of an accredited School of Nursing program.
- Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of patient populations specific to the surgical specialties progressive care area.
Education Requirements
- Required: Associate’s degree in nursing.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Certifications & Licensure
- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) participating state.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or an AHA-approved equivalent.
