Job Opportunity: Multi Modality Imaging Technologist

Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Contract (14 weeks)

Job Summary

• Perform imaging procedures and operate imaging equipment under the direction of a radiologist or other providers.
• Conduct diagnostic studies following specific guidelines and protocols with appropriate radiation protection.
• Provide positive and effective communication with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Perform ancillary services and assist in patient care areas as needed.
• Currently working in 2 or more of the following modalities with advanced certification requirements:

  • Bone Densitometry
  • CT
  • Diagnostic X-ray
  • Mammography
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience & Skills

• One year of current clinical experience in each modality worked.
• Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registration and current State of Wisconsin Radiographer license.
• Registration by ARRT in CT, Mammography, or Bone Density within 18 months of hire/transfer.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field.

Specialty Years of Experience Required

• Minimum 1 year clinical experience in each modality worked.
