Description

Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Summit, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel - Clinical Allied

Job Description

Provide direct patient care with emphasis on pulmonary function testing and initiation of CPAP devices
Support requests for durable medical equipment (DME) such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers
Assist in training patients on the use of inhalers
Set up patients with DME equipment
Collaborate closely with physicians

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Education: Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Experience: Minimum 1 year hospital or physician office experience
Certifications & Licensure:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from NRBC
- New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license (RCP)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
