Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech

Job Summary

The Cath Lab Technician Assistant supports cath lab procedures by preparing patients and procedure rooms, scrubbing procedures, and monitoring and recording hemodynamic pressures. The role requires professional development, clinical competency, and application of invasive cardiology processes. Responsibilities include patient care management, addressing educational needs of patients and families, and contributing to unit operations.

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
License requirement relevant to Cath Lab Tech (as per discipline and specialty)

Key Responsibilities

Prepare patients and procedure rooms for cath lab procedures
Scrub procedures and monitor hemodynamic pressures
Manage patient care assignments and unit operations
Provide health education to patients, families, and healthcare providers
Demonstrate accountability, continuous improvement, resource stewardship, respect, quality, and integrity in care delivery
