Job Description
- Perform advanced-level professional work in exposing and processing radiographic images and fluoroscopy examinations under general supervision.
- Operate standard and portable radiology equipment for radiographic exams and fluoroscopy studies, including intravenous pyelography, cystography, gastrointestinal series, and body section radiography.
- Assist physicians and perform specialized imaging procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and film output issues.
- Serve as a resource and preceptor for other radiographers and students.
- May participate in training programs to develop skills in Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or Special Procedures.
- Maintain records, inventory, and equipment for the assigned area.
Required Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Minimum 1 year of full-time experience as a Radiology Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist within the last year
Certifications & Licensure
- Current ARDMS, ARRT, and/or CCI credentials in the cardiovascular or radiologic technology specialty required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
