Description
Registered Nurse - Procedural
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a specialty procedural area. Responsibilities include patient care, assisting physicians with examinations and minor procedures, monitoring physiological data, administering medications and IV infusions, and coordinating with support staff and family members.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage care for an assigned group of patients.
- Document patient responses and changes in physician orders.
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
- Monitor and intervene based on patients’ physiological data.
- Administer medications and regulate intravenous infusions and blood products.
- Deliver competent patient care and communicate care plans to patients and families.
- Oversee treatment provided by technicians or other service providers.
- Make referrals regarding patient care needs and delegate tasks to support staff.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Licensure & Certifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology, with experience within the last year.
