Job Description

This intermediate-level position involves delivering specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients. The role supports medical staff in diagnosing, treating, and monitoring a range of simple to complex conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform specialized imaging procedures using advanced cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology equipment.
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams to achieve clinical and operational goals.
• Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure completeness and technical quality according to protocols and accreditation standards.
• Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting.
• Perform quality control, cleaning, and maintenance of imaging equipment per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in continuing education, professional development, and research activities.
• Provide instruction, mentorship, and in-service training to less experienced team members.
• Assist with quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited program with emphasis in cardiovascular specialty
  OR
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program with emphasis in radiologic technology specialty

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist and/or Radiology Technologist

Certifications & Licensure

• Current CT credentials as required by the hiring department
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

• Ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information with discretion
• Ability to multi-task and remain calm under stress
• Attention to detail and sound judgment in clinical and non-clinical duties
