Job Description

This intermediate-level position involves delivering specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients. The role supports medical staff in diagnosing, treating, and monitoring a range of simple to complex conditions. Work is performed under general to limited supervision and includes both clinical and non-clinical duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain competencies required for Level I duties.
• Provide safe, high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, urgent care, and outreach clinics.
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve clinical and operational goals.
• Operate specialized imaging equipment to perform diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures.
• Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure completeness and quality according to protocols and accreditation standards.
• Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting.
• Perform quality control, cleaning, and high-level disinfection of equipment per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in continuing education, professional development, and research activities.
• Provide instruction, mentorship, and in-service training to team members.
• Assist with quality assurance and performance improvement tasks as assigned.

Contract Length

• Approximately 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Skills & Experience

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a CT Technologist, with experience within the last year.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Additional Information

• Must be able to work independently and demonstrate professional judgment.
• Ability to mentor and train less experienced staff is valued.
