Description
Job Opportunity: CT Technologist II
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: Approximately 13 weeks
Job Summary
Perform specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services for adult and pediatric patients to assist medical staff in diagnosis, care, treatment, and monitoring of various conditions. Work independently under general to limited supervision in diverse care settings including inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, urgent care, and outreach clinics.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain competencies required for Level I CT Technologist duties.
- Provide safe, high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care under routine or emergent conditions.
- Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve clinical and operational goals.
- Operate specialized imaging equipment to perform diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures within scope of practice.
- Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure completeness, documentation, and technical quality per protocols and accreditation standards.
- Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting.
- Perform quality control, cleaning, and high-level disinfecting of equipment following manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in continuing education, professional development, and research activities.
- Provide instruction, mentorship, and in-service training to less experienced team members.
- Assist with quality assurance and performance improvement tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Recent CT Technologist experience within the last year.
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year full-time experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional in the specialty.
