- 3 shifts of 12 hours each on days (36 hours per week)
Job Description
- Provide nursing care to pediatric oncology patients under general supervision.
- Manage an assigned group of patients, documenting responses to treatments and changes in physician orders.
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
- Monitor physiological data and intervene as necessary.
- Administer medications, intravenous infusions, and blood products.
- Deliver competent patient care and communicate care plans to patients and families.
- Make referrals for patient care needs and delegate tasks to support staff.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma.
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients.
- Pediatric Hematology/Oncology experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- APHON Chemotherapy certification.
