Description

Registered Nurse - Ortho/Ortho Trauma

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Clinical - Nursing)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: 3rd shift (night)
Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week (every other weekend)
Floating: May float as needed to related units

Job Summary

Provide nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for adult patients in an inpatient orthopedic/ortho trauma setting. Care delivery aligns with ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
Minimum 1 year of orthopedics nursing experience within the last year
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience in patient care management

Additional Information

Work schedule includes 12-hour night shifts every other weekend
Flexibility to float to related orthopedic units as needed

Experience Requirements

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in orthopedic/ortho trauma nursing (implied by clinical competence requirement)
No prior travel experience explicitly required
