Description
Registered Nurse - Internal Medicine
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Clinical - Nursing)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: 1st shift
Hours: 12-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours per week
Schedule: Every other weekend, float as needed
Job Description
- Provide nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for adult inpatients.
- Deliver care consistent with ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.
- Manage patient care specific to internal medicine adult populations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin.
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience, with Med Surg experience within the last year.
- Experience in internal medicine nursing care.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
Additional Information
- 12-hour day shifts with floating responsibilities as needed.
- Work every other weekend.
Experience Requirements
- Clinical experience in nursing care and management of adult internal medicine patients.
- No explicit prior travel experience required.
