- Nights: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday
- Hours: 6 PM to 6 AM
- On call once a month
- 12-hour shifts, 48 hours per week
- Requires one year or more of Level I trauma experience
Job Description
- Perform specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services for adult and pediatric patients under general to limited supervision.
- Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders.
- Use specialized imaging equipment to perform diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures.
- Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure study completeness and technical quality.
- Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting.
- Perform operator-level quality control, cleaning, and high-level disinfecting per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
- Provide instruction, mentorship, and in-service training to less experienced team members.
- Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, continuing education, and professional development activities.
- Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams to achieve clinical and operational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience as a CT Technologist, with experience within the last year.
- Experience working with Level I Trauma patients.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
