Description

Registered Nurse - Modified Care Unit

Location: Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Clinical - Nursing)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: 3rd shift (night)
Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
Patient Population: Primarily adult patients requiring cardiac telemetry care, including those with MI, CHF, COPD, strokes, stable arrhythmias, and other conditions needing close cardiac monitoring and assessment.

Job Description

Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of inpatients.
Demonstrates competency in delivering care to a diverse adult patient population.
Role aligns with ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.

Required Qualifications

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.

Licensure & Certifications

Valid Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Experience

Minimum of 1 year telemetry experience, including telemetry experience within the last year.

Additional Information

Schedule includes 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, with floating as needed.

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
