Description

Interventional Radiology Technician

Location

Morristown, New Jersey

Contract

13 weeks

Schedule

PM shift
36 hours per week
12-hour shifts
On-call every 4th weekend and 1 day per week

Required Qualifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in New Jersey
Interventional Radiology Technologist (3 years of experience)
Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ARRT (R)
High School Diploma/GED or Associate degree
Cardiovascular Technologist experience

Role Overview

Assists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional procedures
Scrubs side by side with the proceduralist
Operates fluoroscopic modality machines and power injection of iodinated contrast media
Maintains sterile technique and infection prevention measures
Handles documentation in the electronic medical record and image transfer to PACS
Performs groin management post-intervention
Works in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
