Description
Cath Lab Tech
Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Employment Type: Clinical-Allied
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Rotating schedule
- Week 1: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
- Week 2: Monday to Friday, Call Coverage (3:30 PM – 7:00 AM) and Saturday/Sunday (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Job Summary
Assist in preparing patients for cath lab procedures, including scrubbing procedures and monitoring/recording hemodynamic pressures. Utilize invasive cardiology processes to prepare procedure rooms and patients. Provide health education to patients, families, and healthcare providers. Manage patient care assignments and support unit operations. Apply knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions.

Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Kentucky
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- Certification in one of the following: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist), ARRT(VI) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Vascular Interventional), or RTRCI (Registered Technologist in Radiology – Cardiovascular Interventional)
- Proficient in hemodynamic pressure monitoring
- Knowledge and experience with invasive cardiology processes

- High School diploma or GED
