Registered Nurse - ED/Trauma
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: 3rd Shift (Tuesday-Thursday, 7:15 PM - 7:15 AM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Job Description
- Provide nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for primarily adult inpatient patients in the Emergency Department/Trauma setting.
- Demonstrate clinical competence in patient care management specific to ED/Trauma populations.
- Perform duties aligned with the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.
- Telemetry competence is required for this department.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin.
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience, with recent ED experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Trauma Nurse Course Certification (TNCC).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
