RN CVICU Pediatrics
Location
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract Length
13 weeks
Schedule
- 8-hour shifts
- 40 hours per week
- Weekend coverage required: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week scheduling block
- Must be willing to float to PICU, NICU, and Stepdown
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Pediatrics CVICU (1 year of experience)
- Pediatrics CVICU experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- CVICU experience
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience
- Stepdown experience
Role Overview
Provides nursing care to hospitalized patients with a range of health problems, including:
- Monitoring patient condition and physiological data
- Administering medications and IV infusions/blood products
- Documenting patient responses and changes in orders
- Assisting physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Coordinating care with patients, families, and support staff
