Location
Jeffersonville, Indiana
Schedule
- Mid shift
- 10 hours per day
- 40 hours per week
- Weekend rotation
Contract Length
- 17 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Indiana
- CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging and produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Verify ordered exams and determine appropriateness using assessment data
- Administer contrast as directed
- Position patients and equipment for optimal images
- Apply radiation safety practices to reduce exposure
- Prepare and educate patients and respond to questions or concerns
- Work with physicians to evaluate images and determine whether additional images are needed
- Oversee and train students providing patient care, treatment, and services
