Cath Lab Tech

Location

Newton, New Jersey

Contract

13 weeks

Schedule

Day shift
4 days per week
9.5 hours per day
1–2 weekend STEMI on-call shifts

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in New Jersey
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience
BLS
ACLS
IABP
High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

RCIS certification

Job Responsibilities

Prepare patients for cardiac cath and related procedures
Assist with PCI/STEMI, peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and interventional radiology procedures
Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data
Assist the physician before, during, and after procedures
Assess and manage access sites
Follow cath lab on-call protocol

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
