RN Oncology Infusion Clinic - Adult
Location
- Tulsa, Oklahoma
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm
- No weekends
- No holidays
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Role Summary
- Provides nursing care for adult oncology infusion patients in a clinic setting
- Administers medications, chemotherapy, IV infusions, and blood products
- Assists physicians with conscious sedation and minor diagnostic procedures
- Documents patient responses and coordinates follow-up care
- Provides patient and family education related to chemotherapy and clinic care
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Oncology experience within the last year
- 1 year of oncology experience
- Infusion experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS from the American Heart Association
- ONS/ONCC
Skills
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
- Some computer skills
